Amy Winehouse dies at 27.

It's such a shame she never really got off the drink and drugs as she had such a unique voice and unfortunately this isn't really surprising, but not any less tragic. :(

Flyby update on cat: thankfully she didn't have kidney failure after all and was given some antibiotics. She's a lot more alert although she's going to have to get one of her teeth taken out but apart from that she's okay. :) And she's currently sprawled out over mum's tummy. ♥

Update on the cat: we took her to the vets tonight and she's getting some tests done as it may be a urinary infection but she's to stay overnight. Hopefully it's something that can be cleared up with antibiotics and not kidney failure. :/

Fingers crossed...

A question for you cat owners; our wee cat hasn't been herself for the last few days and today I noticed that wherever she sits, she leaves a little puddle or drops of watered down blood. Any thoughts as to what this may mean or have any cat lovers had this happen with their puss??
